Most of the photos I take these days are 3296x2472 pxls and 150 dots per inch - Too big for desk computer monitors.
In order to see text, I run my monitor at 800x600 pxls. At 800 pxls wide. An image posted at 600 pxls wide over-fills the Yuku viewing area by about 10% [How I miss our old EZBoard format] I also resample the orignal down to 72 dpi for internet transmission - this lowers the KB number by 30-40%.

They have rules as to max size: 4000 x 4000 pxls and 512kb per image. The other sticker is one image per day, or pay. Cheapskate, here. To stay under the 512 kb limit and string 6 to 7 images in a montage, I start out at 600 x 3800 pxls blank and stuff in 600x450 pxl images with a little text.
